Sicily
"Italy without Sicily leaves no image in the spirit. The key to everything is found in Sicily. The purity of the contours, the softness of everything, the yielding exchange of colors, the harmonious unity of the sky with the sea and sea with the land ... Who has seen them only once, will possess them for life. "
- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe -

Castellammare del Golfo
An amphitheater on the sea, Castellammare del Golfo , which, as its name already announces, overlooks the gulf of the same name, the largest in Sicily.
Its imposing Castle , Arab-Norman, is the undisputed symbol, its beautiful stairways offer fascinating views, the high ramparts overlook the port while beautiful churches stand out above the urban fabric. A city, where every corner tells something of its flourishing past.
Scopello and Guidaloca beach
A few steps from Castellamare del Golfo is Scopello, an ancient village, with stacks overlooking the sea and scenic beaches of white pebbles and emerald green water that make it one of the most beautiful places in Western Sicily . Scopello is almost one with the wonderful Zingaro Nature Reserve , which fascinates the visitor with its wonderful views made of sea and mountains, green and blue.
It conquers you with the smell of cunzato bread that you find in the village and dazzles you with the color of its sea of a thousand shades.
Our beach
Our villa overlooks the Baia di Guidaloca , the most famous and popular beach in Castellammare del Golfo . A natural cove of about 400 meters very sheltered from the winds and with a usually very calm sea. The beach is pebbly and partly equipped with sun loungers and parasols. The eastern part of the bay has a rocky bottom and is therefore perfect for snorkelers. There are also several natural caves such as the Grotta dei Colombi , the Grotta della Ficarella , the Grotta dell'Eremita and the Abisso dei Cocci . In the western part of the bay there is an ancient watchtower dating back to the 16th century.
